The Story that Started It All

I didn’t mean to fall in love with miniature poodles.
Honestly, it started with a muffin.

A blueberry muffin—warm, fresh, and entirely mine.
I set it on the coffee table, turned around to grab a napkin, and when I looked back… there he was.

A tiny puffball with legs, sitting like a perfectly behaved marshmallow—blueberry crumbs dusted across his nose.

I blinked.
He blinked.
I said, “Hey!”
He sneezed.

That was Waffles.
Yes, actually his name. His tag said so. So did the frantic flyer I found later that day:

“LOST MINIATURE POODLE. ANSWERS TO ‘WAFFLES.’ LOVES MUFFINS.”

I meant to return him right away.
Really, I did.

But then he looked at me with those eyes—soft and round like melted chocolate chips—and curled up on my slippers, snoring the tiniest snore I’d ever heard.

Later, he brought me a stick. From inside the house.
(There were no sticks inside the house.)
Then he tried to bark at a squirrel, but it came out like a squeaky toy in distress, and I wheezed.

Somehow, this tiny dog made my whole apartment feel like a cartoon—like birds might start singing, like my coffee might refill itself, like anything could happen… as long as Waffles was involved.

When his owner finally showed up—an elderly woman with a laugh like bubble wrap—she looked at me, looked at Waffles, and said:

“He seems to like you. Want to keep him on weekends?”

I didn’t hesitate.
I said yes, of course.

Ever since then, I lived for Friday afternoons—when Waffles would strut in like he owned the place, wearing a new bandana and smelling faintly of lavender and adventure.

And that’s how I fell for miniature poodles.

Because they’re soft and smart and weirdly magical.
Because they’ll steal your muffin, your socks, and your heart in the same weekend.
And because once you meet a poodle named Waffles…

your life just doesn’t feel right without him.

What Kind of Home I'm Looking for My Puppies

I’m looking for loving, responsible homes for my puppies—places where they’ll be cherished as family members, not just pets. Ideally, their new families will have the time, patience, and commitment to care for a growing pup, including training, exercise, and lots of affection.

I fell in love with miniature poodles

I fell in love with Miniature Poodles because of their unique combination of intelligence, elegance, and affectionate nature. Their hypoallergenic coats, playful personalities, and loyalty make them ideal companions. They're easy to train, eager to please, and thrive in both active and cozy environments. Whether it's their expressive loving eyes, graceful demeanor, or the way they form deep bonds with their humans, Miniature Poodles effortlessly win hearts — including mine.
